As you look into the pits there it sits a true Aussie classic with a low aggressive stance almost with a bad attitude, the colour also dazzles you but beware this thing bites. On start up the cranky old iron fires, barking worse than an old blue heeler with whooping cough. As Dean tries to get nearly 600 horse power of Aussie muscle to the ground, the back feet (tyres) shuffle in nervous anticipation of the lesson they are about to learn. As the Falcon starts to gain momentum it is obvious that this is an adrenalin rush with the potential to realize 280 kph.
Once everything is warmed up and feeling good Dean can now unleash the 600 horsepower these are draught horses, not shetland ponies, the Falcon still struggles not to overpower the 10inch wide race tyres. Once the 351 cubic inch Cleveland V8 is at full noise the sound is one of spine tingling excitement. Turn one is approaching at warp speed. As Dean goes for the brake and shifts down a gear the Falcon groans as the V8 is used as an angry way to wash off the speed. The front spoiler cringing as it tries not to dive into terra firma. The brakes work overtime to pull up the one and a half tonne of Aussie Muscle as the Falcon squirms and walks around on the tyres when he pitches into the apex almost picking up the inside front wheel.
Exiting the turn is like lighting the wick to 600 horsepower of firecrackers, as the Falcon dances sideways under power and it writes its name in rubber up the road on each gear change, this goes on corner after corner. At this stage it is obvious to all that this will be a constant battle between driver, machine and traction.

This is before the rebuild, now it has over 200 horsepower more
In the first few paragraphs we have demonstrated just how exiting and passionate historic racing is. This is the full package, full noise, speed, cars skating all over the race track. We have already obtained major sponsors in Fuchs Lubricants, Classic Pickup Supplies and Gold Coast Customs. In the near future we will be offering full corporate / track days and stagnent displays.
This Falcon has been built to concours quality. Dean has had numerous invitations to do displays and drive in events such as “Speed on Tweed”. He is a very animated and aggressive driver he wrestles the big muscle car in anger which makes him very exciting, fast and a crowd favourite, this is how he became to known as “Vegas”.

Vegas by name guaranteed to put on a good show
